Future Plans & Ideas for
The New Open Ways 

Below are just a few of the concepts generated so far. We expect this will become a community resource with organic growth and evolution over time, and we know there will be more ideas as the community gets involved.

Things to look forward to include:

Public Website Pages & Spaces

• Lunar Info – information page about the moon and the current moon phase
• Sabbats – page with info about all the sabbats and a large focus on the next upcoming sabbat
• Community Art – a page for sharing community art. (Art will also be incorporated into most of the pages)
• Pagan Books List – a page with books organized by subject focus and/or author
• New Book Reviews – a page for reviewing new books relevant to the community
• Pagan Music – information page on community musicians/groups and a section for sharing links to good Pagan music
• Community Podcasts – a page for sharing information and links to about community podcasters
• Elders’ Corner – a space for elders to share their wisdom, knowledge, experience, stories, etc.
• Ask the Priesthood – a Pagan “Dear Abby” where you can send questions to the panel of Priesthood members who are volunteering to respond. (Your Q&A may or may not be published depending on the content/privacy issues/or space. If you would prefer a non-public private answer just include your email address)
• Vendors Row – an advertising page for our fabulous vendors, with content about them
• House of Healing & Wisdom – an advertising page for our amazing healers & diviners with content about them
• Pagan Spiritual Education – an advertising page for our knowledgeable teachers and their classes, with content about them
• Kitchen Witchery Corner – a page for content about kitchen witchery
• The Magickal Garden – a page for content about growing plants for food, magick, healing and pleasure
• Digitized archives of the original Open Ways (scanning in progress)
• Paths & Pantheons – a page for content about magickal/spiritual paths and pantheons

• Community Forums – similar to Reddit or old school bulletin boards
• Community Chat Rooms – similar to AOL or MSN chat rooms for real conversations in real time
• Community Books of Shadows – a space where we can all contribute spells and magick to be shared with the community
• Bacchus’ Grapevine – a “Reasons to Celebrate” page focused on giving shout-outs of congratulations for: birthdays, anniversaries, initiations, handfastings/weddings, births & adoptions, graduations, new businesses, significant accomplishments of community members
• En Memoriam – A space for remembering community members that have crossed over.
• Community Groups – a page for ridesharing, book clubs, study groups, clean-up projects, volunteer projects for community members who have a need, etc.
